Paula and Cory

We photographed Paula and Cory on their 5 wedding anniversary to recreate their wedding pictures in some of their favourite places in Jasper. It was an incredible blue sky day in November and a bone chilling -28. Why is it that bride are oblivious to the cold? Paula and Cory were amazing couple who braved the cold and even lay in the snow to make snow angels!!!

Carolyn and Mike

This couple is getting married in the summer of 2012. They showed up for their winter engagement shoot completely prepared with snow-pants and snowshoes. It was a really fun shoot and Carolyn and Mike made our job a breeze as they were so comfortable in front of our cameras. Looking forward to the wedding day guys!

Karen and Andrew

This Scottish couple and 10 of their family members flew to Jasper for a storybook winter wedding. After an intimate ceremony in the Golf Clubhouse at Jasper Park Lodge, we took them to some of our favorite winter locations. Everyone from overseas thoroughly enjoyed themselves through-out the day and was more than willing to duck outside and brave the cold for group photos.

Laura and Rod

What a fun couple! What amazing weather! We could not have asked for any more inspiration than Laura and Rod and their great sense of humor and the most beautiful snow fall in memory. We knew that one of them would end up throwing someone into the snow and it turned out that Laura won that one! Thank-you two for a memorable shoot and many laughs.

Alex and Vern

Alex and Vern's wedding was late October with just a hint of color in the trees and the grass looked like harvest straw. We could really feel the bond between Alex and Vern and they gave us some amazing moments. After a few hours outside, we headed in to the warmth of the fireplace of the Tonquin Room at the Fairmont. The evening continued with an intimate family dinner.

Melanie and Ian

What a way to kick of your wedding weekend in Jasper...a RCAF F-18 jet flying over Jasper.  Ian is a fighter pilot from Cold Lake and one of his fellow pilots did a low altitude fly by to get things off to a thunderous start.  It was amazing to see.  Melanie and Mark’s ceremony was on the Whistler Plateau at the Fairmont and we spent the afternoon on the grounds of the lodge taking advantage of the sunshine and mountain scenery.  All the facets of our military were represented at the dinner and they made themselves heard.  The speeches were very moving and we love the emotions that they invoked.  My favourite quote of the day “Did I mention I was a fighter pilot?”

Jessica and Jim

Our “Apple” bride.  After meeting with Jessica and Jim, I purchased an iPad 2 and Peg bought an iMac.  iPhones are just around the corner.  Two hours before the ceremony the four of us headed up to Pyramid Lake to get the last of the fall colors. The wedding was a small intimate affair at the Outlook Cabin at the Fairmont.  The entire cabin was glowing with candlelight and the night revolved around family and friends.

Ashleigh and Mark

Ashleigh’s family travelled all the way from the windy city, Chicago, for a beautiful wedding weekend at the Fairmont in Jasper.  The wedding party, twelve in all, was an amazing group to work with.  The boys went out for an impromptu little paddle on Beauvert Lake following the ceremony.  They were trying to get the girls to join them in the canoe but the girls (thankfully) thought better of it.

Meghan and Jack

This was one of our favorite couples of the summer.  They and their wedding party really made us feel like we had made new friends and we were honored that they choose us to cover their special day.  Thanks you guys!

Stephanie and Brandon

This gorgeous couple decided to elope in Jasper and we love the shots that we got of them.  Brandon is a fighter pilot and Stephanie a meteorologist.  Despite Stephanie’s skill at predicting the weather, we still had to duck into our cars to sit out a quick rain shower!

Kayla and Jordan

This lovely young couple truly inspired us.  They choose a beautiful meadow near Hinton for their ceremony.  We traipsed them and their wedding party through mine ruins and negotiated a hill far too high for heels and a wedding dress.  They were willing to do whatever it took for great shots.  One of our summer highlights was meeting this fun couple.

Chandra and Shawn

We met this couple at the wedding show in Edmonton and were thrilled when they decided that they wanted us to cover their big day.  The ceremony was held at the Jasper Airport and we fully embraced the wide open space that we found there.  A large group of family and friends came over from South Africa to help them celebrate their nuptials.

Ally and Ryan

We first heard from Ally and Ryan two years ago when they first got engaged. Jasper experienced rain all week previous to their wedding, but Mother Nature put the brakes on the rain for all of our outdoor photos the day of their wedding. The wedding party was one of the best that we have ever worked with. We even managed to take advantage of the theatre in Jasper where "Bridesmaids" was playing. A great day overall!

Irene and Ben

Irene and Ben were our International couple of the summer. He, a dance shoe salesman from England and she, a dance shoe store owner from Spain. They met at a tradeshow in Europe and sparks flew. We spent the whole day with them and had the most beautiful weather. Ben's brothers "doll show" of how the two met was the highlight of the reception!

Natalie and Brad

We spent a beautiful June day with our rock star couple, Natalie and Brad. Their ceremony was on the lawn outside the "Honeymoon Cabin" cabin at Jasper Park Lodge. After a little bubbly, we were off to a few locations we were trying for the first time. We found the perfect location to showcase Brad's 69 Volkswagen Fastback that he had lovingly restored.

Sarah and Tyler

Sarah and Lori started their day at the Rain Salon at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge while Tyler joined family and friends on the golf course. The ceremony was held at Lake Annette with the lake and Whistler Mountain providing an amazing backdrop. Then after the ceremony we headed out for pictures with the bridal party. We were just taking our last images when rain started...they say rain is good luck on your wedding day.

Leah and Chris

It was a beautiful day for Leah and Chris's wedding, and they chose to have an outdoor ceremony at the Maligne Canyon Lookout. Breathtaking views and sunshine! We love outdoor ceremonies! We had an awesome afternoon with their wedding party and after dinner we moved on to the Downstream where family and friends danced the night away.

Jessica and Marcello

Another beautiful day in Jasper. Jessica and the girls got ready at The Wild Orchard Spa while the boys got dressed at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Jessica and Marcello had two ceremonies, one at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and later in the day on the Whistler Plateau at Jasper Park Lodge where their guests was treated to a spectacular backdrop. We spent some time with the wedding party on the grounds of the Fairmont and then took Jessica and Marcello to some of our favorite spots in Jasper. The reception decor was nothing short of amazing thanks to Sofia from Awes pi ring Weddings.

Natalie Allin

We were lucky enough to take photos of Natalie Allin, Miss Teen Western Canada. Natalie is a dancer so was easy to pose and photograph. She changed into her various outfits in her parents' van! We took her to some of our favorite locations in Jasper. We wish Natalie good luck at the Miss Teen Canada pageant in Toronto this July.

Jodi and John

Jodi and John kicked off the month of June with a wedding ceremony at the beautiful Athabasca Falls. The crowds of people were so respectful of the ceremony and moved out of the way to let us take photos in all the locations that we wanted. A wonderful encounter with humans and nature at their finest! We had a great time with Jodi and John. Congratulations you two!
