Hey, we get it!

You’re trying to book a wedding photographer in a town that you may or may not have ever visited.  This has got to be the one of the most challenging things that you have ever done.  We’ll make it easy for you!  We promise to be fully transparent with you, we promise to keep our word and we promise to give you all of the information that you need to make the right decision for you.

We, David and Peggy, have been photographing in Jasper for over 25 years.  We’ve seen all types of weather, all types of couples, all types of family dynamics and all types of lighting conditions.  What we love most about photography is getting to know our couples and taking  the time to listen to what is important to them. We love finding out what makes your tick and how we all connected as human beings.

Here are some of our favorite wedding images.

Amazing photographers capture our perfect day!

Looking back, I now see I may have cried too much, drank too much, and raised the roof a little too much. However, the real reason I am writing this is to express how thankful we are to have had such amazing photographers capture our perfect day. All of the special moments: the smiles, the tears, the trips, and the tumbles, won’t ever be able to be forgotten. Our wedding photos turned out better than we could have dreamed . Peggy and Dave, your talent and beautiful personalities made our day and memories so fascinating!

Welcome to our backyard!

We know all the best spots for taking amazing photos.  Beyond that, we will make sure that we capture all of the emotions of your wedding day.   We'll be there every step of the way to help make your wedding day run smoothly. As locals, we not only work in Jasper, we live here and love it!
Sure we have all of the same equipment that every other photographer has and we have both been photographing weddings for over 25 years, BUT, what makes us different is that we get to know you first. We might have photographed over 1000 weddings, but we have not photographed your wedding. You are unique and we want to tell YOUR story. It's not about fancy cameras and lighting equipment, it's about how you connect as a couple.

Our local knowledge and connections are an invaluable resource.

Let's make your wedding planning process easy and fun. Ask us any questions that you may have about our local wedding vendors and services and we'll be there on your wedding day to make sure everything goes according to plan. All of our packages are completely customized to your needs. We meet, LISTEN to what you want and then create a package that suits you. We want to tell YOUR story...

Ready for the next step? Feel free to fill in the form below and tell us about you!

We don't take pictures of strangers! What makes you tick?

What to expect when you hire A Different Angle Photography:

You will get two experienced and vibrant Jasper photographers who want to tell your unique story. We will take the time to get to know you before we even pick up our cameras.  We want to connect with you and get to know you so that we are friends first and photographers second.

What the heck do we mean by that?

When you hire A Different Angle Photography you will get posed photos, candid photos, and photos that you didn’t even know were taken.  Will will capture every tear, every smile, and even the odd grimace that occurs in front of our lenses.  We’re here to help you remember.

Your wedding will be a blur.

Your photos will become the legacy not only for you but for generations to come. We will guide you through the process and hold your hand throughout the day- figuratively anyway!  Because every couple is different, we encourage all of our couples to either to have a Zoom meeting or a phone call to see if we are a good match.

Let us tell your story!

Beyond our expectations.

Peggy and David were the best duo to capture our wedding ceremony! Due to the pandemic, it was a different experience working with vendors but they made the process seem so seamless. They are very knowledgeable about Jasper and the best locations to take perfect pictures moments and the unique styles and creativity added were beyond our expectations . They went above and beyond and will be highly recommended to anyone looking for the best duo photographers team.

OK- you've scrolled this far. How about a few fun facts!

• David's most embarrassing moment.

Standing in his boxers and socks in the Pyramid Lake Resort bathroom. He was changing for the reception when a guest walked in. The guest looked at him briefly (no pun intended!) and then quickly darted into the stall. A classic David move!

• Peggy's most embarrassing moment.

While setting up family photos, Peggy kept asking one couple to "cuddle in" and "get closer". We found out later that they had just divorced previous to attending the wedding- BUT they got together again after the wedding- yay!

• How did it all start?

Peggy started as David's assistant over 25 years ago and carried his equipment at no charge for 2 years. She has spent the last 20 years turning the tables and getting David to carry the equipment.

• What about those dogs?!

David and Peggy own 2 yellow lab brothers- Reuger and Gunner. Guess whose dog is well trained and whose is not.

0 Coldest temperature we have photographed a wedding in.
0 The number of brides or grooms who have contacted us to photograph their second wedding.
0 The number of perfumes Peggy has purchased because the bride was wearing them.
0 The number of weddings where people ended up in jail the night before. The craziest wedding we have ever photographed involved the bride spending the night in jail before the wedding- true story! (We are not talking)
